How to Find... The Golden Lion
Thanks to Google Maps, please make use of the following interactive map to get directions to The Golden Lion, Magor from wherever you are.
From the M4, exit at Junction 23A (which is also signposted "Services"). At the round-about take the exit to "Magor". After 100 yards, take the slip road - also signposted "Magor". The slip road ends at a small round-about where you should turn Right onto the B4245 signposter Caldicot and Magor. Travel approximate half a mile to a Traffic light controlled pedestrian crossing and turn RIght onto Newport Road (Signposted "Redwick"). The Newport road makes a sharp deviation to the Right after 25 yards, but you should carry staright on into the village and "Home Zone" (past the chip shop on your right). As you enter the narrow Home Zone, turn RIGHT, passing the "Mango House" restaurant on your left and the Ebernezer Church on your right.
The Golden lion is about 25 yards past the Ebernezer Church on the Left hand side of the square. There is free parking in and around the square and also in the car park at the southern end of the square. The car park is only about 25 yards from the front door of the Golden Lion.
